Anna is a thirty-five year-old financial advisor; Mara, a twenty-five-year-old factory worker from a north-east factory; Anis, a clandestine teenager. Back from a holiday abroad, Anna and Mara, who have long been a fixed couple, realize that a young immigrant has slipped into the trailer of their car and took the opportunity to cross the border. At first they do not know how to behave, then they decide to take it with them. Anis, this is the name of the boy, says he has lost his parents and intends to reach a restorative uncle in Milan. But then things do not go smooth and the boy returns from the two women; and slowly it is introduced more and more in their home and in their life. Anna helps Anis find a job with his brother Salvio, despite the opposition of Mara, struggling with a sick father.
